The frabic started popping out of the seams only a couple months into having up. And the cushioning is not very comfortable. I don't think I would pay that much for that chair if I could do it over again. I've seen other kid chairs for much cheaper. But the only thing is this is the only Dr. Seuss one. So I guess you have a choice to make it you really want to go with a certain theme.

I really like this chair but a couple things to note.

1. Its too expensive.... but all of these kids chairs are too expensive.
2. If you have a toddler (I bought this for my daughter at 18 months) All she wanted to do was lift up the foot stool and carry it around and drop it on her feet. She is now 26 months and still does it. I ended up just putting the foot stool away.
3. As the other reviewer stated, its not very padded.
4. If you have an active kiddo, be prepared for them to stand on it, jump on it and go over the back of it many many times.
5. Its pretty lightweight and not to stable, see #4.

After owning it for 8 months, knowing what I know now, I would not of purchased it. Its cute but that's a huge price to pay for cute.

It is a very nice looking chair and seems to made fairly well. All though for being a chair for a young person it isn't very padded. Especially for the price you pay, you would think it would be a little more padded.
