Can't see how this fits "Most",

Would not fit on our spout, unfortunately. The shower diverter (the knob thing most people have that you pull up on to direct water to the shower) is a challenge, even though this product claims to fit most spouts. The instructions are decently written, instructing you to turn the cover sideways to install - the opening is wider than it is tall, so you turn it 90-degrees to get over the shower diverter. I struggled with that for awhile. Then, once I muscled it on, the suction cup would not stick to the wall because the water's on/off knob-dial thing is pretty close to the spout. There was not enough open wall space for the cup to make a good seal with the wall. If your on/off dial is less than 2" from your spout, you will probably have the same issue. In the end, it looked off-kilter and just goofy. I like the idea of the storage compartments, part of why I purchased the product. But it's going back to Babies R Us.
