Summer Infant Pooh Health and Grooming Kit Set

I received this product as a gift since my sister thought it was close enough to the other medical kit I registered for. My baby has not arrived yet and I can already tell that its going to give me problems. Everything in it seems to be poorly made and just not very functional it also looks like this kit will not hold up. The medicine pacifier included in this kit worries me as the two holes in it are very large, the nasal aspirator is cute but does not appear to have a lot of suction behind it. This kit also lacks a rectal thermometer and medicine syringe. If you are looking for a cute kit that is over priced then this is for you, if you are looking for something more complete and higher quality then I would not suggest this kit.

I'm on strict bedrest so unfortunately I don't have the luxury of checking grooming kits out in person at the store. I read quite a few reviews of other kits before I ordered this one. Since basically none of the grooming kits (at least on Amazon or Babies R Us) seem to be rated very highly I just decided to go with one I thought was cute. I also ordered some individual items that were rated higher on their own just to make the kit more complete. Overall this is a cute kit. I bought it for $29 and after getting it, it seems more like a $12-$15 item. It's a bummer it doesn't qualify for Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping. Like I said, it is cute but rather than going with a kit you might be served better by getting all the individual items and putting them together on your own.
