I thought the little gauze covers seemed a little silly, but I wish I'd bought more. They fit very securely on the feme pad and b/c they're gauze they keep it from sliding around and prevent most "stuff" from transferring onto the feme pad. Then you just remove the cover and throw away. The only downside is that it really is only good for about 20 min and takes 3 hours to refreeze, so if you think you might want them constantly, buy more. I just needed them to help get to sleep or after too much exertion post pardum.

I bought these before I had my son and got much use out of them in my early post partum recovery. I wish they stayed cold longer. My only regret is that I didn't take them to the Hospital with me. Definitely a must for recovering Mommys!

This is the most wonderful product for use post partum-especially after an episiotomy. A friend recommended this to me and I think its just the bees knees! Would buy a million times over. Extremely worth the price, definately recommend this to anyone about to have a baby.
