I'm a fan of hooded towels, and like the apron-style ones. I was looking forward to receiving this one as it's somewhat larger than the ones I have. Unfortunately, after the initial wash the fabric is already coming apart -- large loose loops and dangling threads all over, especially near the velcro pieces, which I had closed in an effort to avoid them snagging the material.

Other than that particular disappointment, the towel feels soft. It's not particularly thick, which can be good or bad depending on what you're looking for (sometimes a very thick towel makes it difficult to dry small baby parts).

For the price, I expected a higher quality material with better durability. I'll update this as I see how it continues to hold up.

Definitely helpful to have the towel hang from my neck, leaving my hands free to grab my baby safely and comfortably from the bath without worrying that the towel will fall off. Also, as importantly: it is way bigger than usual baby towels, so there's plenty of fabric to wrap around my infant and dry her well, keeping her warm and comfy. The towel itself is very soft and absorbent. It has held up well to almost-daily washings. Just make sure you wash it in warm water as indicated on the label. I washed it in hot once by mistake and the towel got a little less fluffy. Nonetheless I am sure I'll be using mine for a long time.
