Safety 1st Infant-to-Toddler Bathtub

The Safety 1st Infant-to-Toddler Bathtub gives parents great options during bath time. The tub features our SlideGuard contours to help keep your little one steady while bathing. There's a color change plug to let you know if the water is too hot before starting the bath and holders for soap and accessories. After bath time is over, the shower hook makes storing and drying the tub easy.

I had gotten this tub for my grandson. It is horrible. So many other tubs out there do your research and really pay attention to reviews.

The baby constantly slid over the hump that is supposed to keep him in an inclined position. It would be really easy for the head to slip under the water if you are not paying attention. I even put the fish grip stickers that are on the bottom of my shower in this tub, on the hump as well as the back area to keep him from sliding-still didn't help. We are expecting another grandchild in a few months and will def get a different tub!

As a lot of the other reviewers stated, this tub is very slippery requiring you to try to hold squirming baby with one hand and bathe with the other. The bump in the bottom and non-slip mat serve absolutely zero purpose. My son already grew out of this tub and he is very short for his age, he's 5 months now but we quit using it weeks ago. I purchased a foam pad to go in the tub to see if it would help, but it would slide down too. HATE this tub.

We got this tub mostly because of the price. When my son was smaller it worked ok except he did seem to slide down a lot. I had a hard time keeping him from slipping but it was manageable. It also did not fit in out double sink. We had to bathe him on the counter top and eventually move to the tub as he got more active. As he got bigger he became more active at bath time. He loves to kick ans splash. When he does this he slides down even more in the tub and goes all over the place. The hump to keep him up does not work at all and the slip guard is basically useless. He is almost 5 months old and I am looking for a new tub, partly because he is 26 and 1/2 inches long and weighs 16 1/2 pounds. It seems like he is getting too big and there is no way he can sit comfortably in it. Overall we are rather dissatisfied. I have stuck with this tub for a while now but it is definitely time to replace it. I suggest going with something different.
