Must-have safety aids for the home.

Includes:

Most homes are not designed with a baby's safety in mind. Once you learn a baby is on the way, it is never too soon to begin child-proofing your home. To help parents start child-proofing, this kit includes three essential products designed to safeguard three of the home's most dangerous areas.

Outlet Plugs - Outlet Plugs fit into outlets to protect children from electricity. Great for every room in the house, they have child-resistant rounded edges.

Secure Grip Door Knob Covers - Door Know Covers fit over door knows to help keep children out of rooms that are off-limits. Great for bedrooms and bathrooms, they have child-resistant buttons for adult-only access.

Cabinet & Drawer Latches - Cabinet & Drawer Latches help keep cabinets and drawers closed to curious children. Great for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and the family room, they are easy for adults to use and install.

I would definitely encourage you to buy something else if you're childproofing. My 13 month-old daughter easily pulls out the outlet covers and plays with them, and the drawer/cabinet locks are not very effective either.

These worked well until my son, who just turned 9 months old, learned to pull them out. Although the outlet plugs say you need to push the button in the middle to remove them, he can just grab a corner and yank them right out.

We haven't tried the knob covers yet. The draw pulls didn't come with the screws to attach them, so I haven't gotten around to getting them on yet.
