I bought this for my 5 y/o nephew who has been trying to copy his dad and grandpa by using a Gillete razor handle without the razor head. This is safe for him but the handle leaves his little face red and irritated.
I remember my brothers had these when they were younger but they are harder to find in stores today.
My nephew loved it but I was disappointed by it. It is very cheaply made. I would be surprised if it lasts a week in which case I will return it. The $16 pricetag is basically for the play razor itself.
My biggest issue with this is the suction cup that is used to hold the mirror in place. It is poorly made and we couldn't get the mirror to stick on the wall behind the sink or on the bathtube tiles.
There is a bottle of shampoo, hairgel, and shaving cream included. I think it would be better for them to take out the shampoo and hairgel and spend the extra money making a better quality mirror and razor.
