I really wanted to love these organic washcloths.

I washed these in a gentle cycle with Charlies soap, and dried them under low.

The terry cloth is now pulling and the wash clothes won't stay flat. They are all bunched up.

They have never been used and look tattered.

Sadly, would not recommend.

Organic cotton was important to me for bath time, and these are rough enough to create a good lather but still soft for baby skin. They don't lay flat as another reviewer mentions, because the corners are rounded. Not a design flaw though, and the actual surface of the cloth is fine. We fold them up to be quarter size and it's not an issue for me. I have washed these 20+ times now, and they have held up well. The natural color is also very sweet and aesthetically pleasing.
The outside edge has a flat cotton material binding, which is helpful for cleaning between fingers given that these are thick.

These are actually really nice washcloths. Sometimes they're on the too-thick side, but over all I like how soft they are. A couple of them don't absorb water very quickly, but that'll probably go away when they've been washed a few times. I do have to agree with the reviewer who mentioned that they look a bit tattered once washed. They shrunk a bit and a few threads came loose. I still give it 5 stars simply because I like them.
