Recommended by a physical therapist,

My friend is a retired physical therapist who just recommended these for my husband who needs some assistance with safety in the shower. He gave me one to try and I was very impressed. They must be used on a smooth surface like tub or shower tile. They appear to be very secure and easy to attach and detach without harming the surface. My friend also suggested to place them on the bathroom counter top for added stability to pull himself up from power chair.

I bought this because I often visit a family member whose shower has absolutely nothing to hold onto. I'm aware that this is not a product designed to carry your weight, and I use it simply to help with balance. At 72 years of age, I need that security in the shower. This really hangs onto the wall tightly, but is not difficult to remove. Small enough to fit in your suitcase, too. This product is available through some of the travel sites, but this is a considerably less expensive site.

Looks well made. Unfortunately, the suction cup is wider than my tiles (subway tiles) - so cannot stick for me.
Not a problem with the product though - just unlucky for me!
