This review is from: Luvable Friends 4 Pack Super-Soft Washcloths, (Baby Product) UPDATE 02/28/11: Well, We've been using these cloths for a while now and I have to admit that I like them a lot. Even though I still think that the packaging is HORRIBLE, the cloths have held up well. I'm bumping my rating from 2 to 4 stars. If it weren't for the stupid packaging I'd give it 5.
INITIAL REVIEW: These cloths would be worth the $3.99 if it wasn't for the crummy packaging. There's some kind of adhesive that holds these cloths to the cardboard packaging and when you try to separate them the adhesive is so strong that it tears the stitching apart. What's with this adhesive? There's already a multitude of those plastic fasteners that you have to cut off, and it's all inside a plastic bag, so what the heck? 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By immelbatoast (NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Luvable Friends 4 Pack Super-Soft Washcloths, Blue (Baby Product) I am happy with these washcloths but I have to agree the packaging is silly. The best way I found to remove them from the tape is, instead of pulling the cloth off the package, slide your finger along between the cloth and tape and you should get less pulled threads then.
Overall soft, bigger than most baby washcloths and thicker too (but not super thick..just most baby washcloths I've seen are very thin). I will probably be purchasing more of these to replace the rest of his washcloths. Another note - the design in the corner is only on one of the washcloths (for example, on the Blue set, the monkey is only on the white one, the others are plain). Not much more to say about a washcloth! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Luvable Friends 4 Pack Super-Soft Washcloths, (Baby Product) These are a great value, I'll admit. But we don't use these for our baby's baths after trying them once. They're basically normal washcloths, and what I wanted was something softer for our newborn. We ended up finding some terry burpcloths and using those instead for bathtime. Those are great because they're softer and long, so I can keep my baby's tummy covered while I wash her. If you want some extra washcloths around, these aren't bad, but don't expect them to be much different than basic washcloths. |
