Johnson's Baby Wash, Shea & Cocoa Butter, 28-Ounce Bottle

i purchased this body wash because i thought my kids and i would benefit from the ingredients shea and cocoa butter since we all have dry skin. i've always trusted and used this brand for our sensitive skin. the general idea is that johnson's baby products are gentle for baby's skin. but this shea and cocoa butter product contains "parabens", which is known to cause allergic reaction in a very tiny percentage of the population, according some articles i've read. unfortunately, my children and i happen to be part of that "very tiny percentage". the bottle is also labeled "allergy tested", so it's a bit contradicting to add a preservative ingredient that could possibly cause an allergic reaction on very sensitive skin(like that of a newborn baby's?).

This is great for people that does not suffer from eczema and it does make your skin soft and smelling good.

NOT a recommendation if you even have slight eczema, it will make it worse...probably because of the ingredient "parabens" that's in the wash.

As our child aged, we tried more "fun" washes that left her with dry skin and rashes despite not having skin problems. She now likes to practice washing herself so bar soaps might get in her eyes. We just keep going back to this one. Leaves her clean and soft. Can't beat it. Pump bottle also a big plus. Wouldn't kill them to design a more stable shape for it though... heavy when new, full bottle topples over onto her (or our feet in the shower!).
