Have used Johnson's baby shampoo and body wash since I gave birth to my daughter. When I found out that Johnson&Johnson's have used a toxic ingredient in their products knowing that it was a possible carcinogen, I have stopped using all their products.
Contains the formaldehyde-releasing preservative quaternium-15, as well as the chemical byproduct 1,4-dioxane. Formaldehyde and 1,4-dioxane are known carcinogens. The federal Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported that "the presence of 1,4-dioxane, even as a trace contaminant, is cause for concern," and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services added formaldehyde to its list of known human carcinogens in June 2011.

I still use it,

Johnson's Baby Shampoo is something I still use, especially at the change of seasons when my allergies act up and I don't want any regular type of shampoo causing my eyes additional itch, stress or general discomfort. I've used this ever since I was a kid (although at that time I used it much more regularly) and I've never been regretful about it. It is every bit as gentle as they say it is--no burning sensation in my eyes when I use this to wash my hair; and I'm sorry about the other reviewer's experience but my hair feels clean after each and every wash.
I highly recommend this product.

I struggle with dry itchy scalp that most medicated shampoos can't seem to fix. I figured if baby shampoo is mild enough for the toddlers than it surely will not irritate my follicle disabled scalp. I was right, my scalp is healthier than ever. You can't beat the price and the quality has kept J&J on top of the pediatric world for almost a century. I recommend this to anyone who has the same needs...
