what happened to unscented?,

it's fine that j&j is extending the product line to included scented versions of the cornstarch powder, but what about the original unscented cornstarch powder? can't be found anywhere, and the scented versions are gross. bring back the unscented original!

It can be the better alternative to deodorants,

Yes, it's good for babies and there's little doubt that J&J expected to be primarily used to treat babies' diaper rashes and to help babies feel fresh and comfortable. It just happens that it's equally good for grownups. Grownups too want to feel fresh and comfortable and Baby Powder can address that need.
I learned the Baby Powder's secret the hard way. Many years ago, I developed a mild allergy - or intolerance - to most perfumes and fragrances. I simply could not use deodorants any longer but I had no problem with Baby Powder came to the rescue. To my surprise, I find it as good or better than most deodorants. Used after the morning shower it keeps me fresh for most of the rest of the day and my skin seems to tolerate it quite well.
Briefly, I like to use Baby Powder for the following reasons:
- does not irritate my skin
- keeps me feel fresh and clean for many hours
