This is the best smelling baby powder, light, clean and sexy. Works just like baby powder but I don't have to smell like one. I have not been able to find it in the last 6 months. I just called J&J. They have discontinued this product. It was a marketing decision. STUPID STUPID STUPID decision. Please bring it back. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Johnson's Baby Powder Cooling Cucumber Melon, 15-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Health and Beauty) Yes, it's good for babies and there's little doubt that J&J expected to be primarily used to treat babies' diaper rashes and to help babies feel fresh and comfortable. It just happens that it's equally good for grownups. Grownups too want to feel fresh and comfortable and Baby Powder can address that need. I learned the Baby Powder's secret the hard way. Many years ago, I developed a mild allergy - or intolerance - to most perfumes and fragrances. I simply could not use deodorants any longer but I had no problem with Baby Powder came to the rescue. I've been using powder as deodorant for almost 30 years (since day I discovered it did not give me rash), and cucumber is nice and cool smell. Regular baby powder DOES smell like traditional baby! And the lavendar ... I really don't know why Kestral said the cucumber was an old-lady scent ... the lavendar, to me, is metallic-ish smelling, and cloying. It's artificial ... once you've smelled _real_ lavendar, you know how it should smell and that powder is not for me.
I've written to JnJ to ask why they've discontinued this product. Btw, baby powder is also good if you color your hair at home ... before putting on the gloves that often come with hair coloring ... remove all rings from fingers and lightly dust hands, then gloves go on / off with ease. |
