I had twins a few months ago and got all kinds of fancy lotions. I was excited about the "Bee" lotion until they got a rash. I then switched to "Veeno" and a tiny rash appeared and they weren't very moisturized. They didn't get a rash with "Magic" (go figure), but I wanted a tad more moisture as we are in a bad drought and they are dry. I mix the lotion I like and the oil in my hands, and VOILA! Even alone I love it but I think it's best mixed with a lotion. They no longer flake, their skin glows, they are soft, and smell decent. I didn't buy into the "oil is dangerous" hype. Obviously most body products can kill you if you drink them, not just baby oil. So do your research and you will see that your child will be perfectly safe if you keep the oil where they can't drink it and smear it all over their bodies and mouth. As for it being petroleum based, so is half the garbage we use. I have met 2 people that had such gorgeous skin, I had to ask them what they use and both had...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars good moisturizer on wet skin, October 20, 2011

If you put this on after your shower, while you are wet (directions say to step out of the shower first so you do not slip) and then towel dry, it is really comfortable and not greasy. This contains mostly mineral oil, then a light fragrance, and cocoa and shea butter. Most moisturizers contain silicones and parabens and other ingredients. Maybe there could be a little more of the respective butters in this, but overall, I find it easy to use, good fragrance, (and I don't like the smell of regular baby oil) and I like that at least there is a little of each of shea and cocoa butters in it. I would like it if it was fragrance free, but the smell does not last long, and it is light.

This product moisturizes and softens my skin to my satisfaction. It has a great smell to it also. I would recommend this product.
