Great for cloth and disposable diapering,

I started using this product because I was cloth diapering my son. But I also felt the use of diaper creams was an excessive use of chemicals and petroleum products on my child's skin. In the 2 years that I've used this on my son, he has never had a diaper rash. The only time he got a diaper rash was when we ran out of the Wipe Companion for a week. I've applied this product in a variety of ways, diluting 1 TBSP Wipe Companion with: Cloth wipes + water in a diaper warmer; Witchhazel + Spray Bottle; in 1 bottle of Witchhazel + splashed on a dry cloth wipe. Any method has been effective in preventing diaper rash and limiting foul smells. I often only have to apply this once a day after bath time.

This product has a nice light smell. We use just a squirt of this in hot water with the cloth wipes in a wipes warmer. The bottle lasts a long time for us.

Pro-Active against diaper rashes!,

I love this product. I love how gentle it is on baby's skin as well as how it nourishes each time you use it. The natural oils leave baby's skin very soft and healthy. Healthy skin is able to fend off diaper rash easier than distressed skin. I also love how I can make as much as I need at a time. I use the The Homestead Company - Witch Hazel Distillate Alcohol & Fragrance Free - 8 oz. for mixing. One other thing that I think is great is that it works well with cloth diapers. Some cloth diapers have stay-dry fabrics in them that often retain odor if product residues don't properly wash out. In the year+ that I have been using this product, I have not had any issues. With a hot wash and proper detergent, the oils wash right out.
