This review is from: Gerber Wash Cloth, 12 Pack, Boy (Baby Product) I bought these washcloths to use as baby wipes since I cloth diaper. They work very well and are a good size and thickness for this purpose. The only downside is that they are 20% polyester, which of course repels water, so they are not as absorbent as they could be. However, the upside of the poly blend is that they are very soft and dry quickly. I have been very happy with this purchase and believe these are a very economical choice for cloth baby wipes compared to the wipes sold by cloth diaper manufacturers, and the colors are very cute to boot. I would not use them for bathing due to the polyester content. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Gerber Wash Cloth, 12 Pack, Boy (Baby Product) This may be TMI for some people but I've been primarily using these wipes in order to clean off my baby boy's genitalia, since doctors recommend avoiding the use of baby wipes on that area if the boy has been circumcised. If I wanted to go entirely eco-conscious, I would image these would work great as cloth wipes.
As for its intended use as baby wash cloths, I prefer to use something a bit more plush and substantial. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By janicemp "jmp" (PA, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Gerber Wash Cloth, 12 Pack, Boy (Baby Product) When these arrived, I must admit I was disappointed. They were small and seemed cheapo. However, they have turned out to be some of the most handy and useful items in the nursery! We keep hem on the changing table for patting bottoms dry and catching little boy sprays. The small size is also helpful for cleaning little ears. Yeah, I like them after all!! |
