Product Review

Appropriate for use for newborn, infant, and older infant/toddler! The Fisher-Price Rainforest Bath Center brings a comfortable bath time experience to both baby and mom. The Bath Center can be used for a newborn, an infant and an older infant or toddler . This very fresh looking translucent tub has a wonderful bolstered soft sling with a separate head support cradles newborns, then detaches from one end to lie over the small end of the tub as a pad for more active babies . When baby can sit up alone, the large end of the tub provides just the right sized tub for lots of fun play. Soft cushions along the upper lip of the tub give parents 4 comfortable resting spots for their arms and wrists. The tub comes with 3 Rainforest themed toys: a toucan water sifter, frog pouring cup, and a monkey teether toy for lots of fun in the tub! Product Dimensions: 30.9 x 18.5 x 8.8 inches Weight: 3.7 pounds

I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part, but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths.

I liked the tub at first, it's good for newborns. However, as she got older and weighed more, she started crying a lot in the bath. I took her out and noticed she had a big red mark on her back where the bump hit her. I tightened the straps as tight as possible, but it just stretches out again. I found that I had to put a towel there or hold her back so that it wouldn't be so uncomfortable. I probably wouldn't purchase this again.

After trying 2 other tubs that were HORRIBLE, we tried this one. Our daughter is 5 1/2 months old, and can sit up fairly well. She's about 18 pounds and very long, so having enough space for her legs was an issue. We found that the other tubs we tried weren't long enough, nor were they very comfortable. She ended up with red marks all over her legs and back from other tubs, but this one was wonderful! There's enough room for her to sit up and splash and play, and there's still room to grow. And it does NOT leak like the Safety 1st 4-in-1 bath station, which we also have. I cannot rate the newborn/infant side of the tub, since she's already outgrown that stage, but the older baby side is definitely the best I've seen so far.
