Product Review

Bathing your baby can be totally stressful So small and slippery it s difficult for either of you to feel secure Well here s a tub that comes with everything you need for all in one bath time fun A cute fabric sling cradles your newborn or infant in comfort allowing him to rest comfortably and securely in the warm water leaving your hands free to bathe him When baby s ready to sit up on his own just remove the sling and there s plenty of room for play

I read the previous review and agree with most of what was said, but I did want to put a positive spin on this item as I'm not displeased with it.

My baby is almost 5 months old and is still able to use this item. He lays in the hammock, feet hanging over the side now, and when I want to wash his back and hair and then rinse him off, I just support his torso while he sits in the hammock. I did note that the hammock sits a little high, but that's understandable because you want the baby to be in the water, but more vertical. To keep him happy (especially as a newborn), I would place a warm wash cloth over his body to keep him from getting cold or wrap him in a diaper cloth as I was bathing him (again this is a good idea for newborns because temperature changes make them very unhappy). The orange hammock dries quickly and does not smell funky either. It's machine washable and has survived that. The color is atrocious, but hey, you don't lose the pieces and the baby does...Read more

Overpriced plastic has problems:
* Hammock is only suitable for the first few weeks of life - then becomes cramped; difficult to maneuver and remove baby
* Tub didn't fit ANY sinks
* Shaggy polyester towel sheds - never used
* Decorative plastic shell is useless
* Squirt bottle is useful, but a screw cap is needed to keep lid closed - it just snaps on insecurely
* Orange color is not attractive

The only decent thong is that it is a miniature version of a tub with a textured bottom to prevent slipping, so it is best for toddlers.

I just got this baby bath tub in the mail recently and im soooo anxious to use it for my new baby...(if he were here already...not due til march 29th:) but yea i love that it has the temperature setting on the bottom, new mommies need to take all the precautions we can, and i love the little fuzzy towel it comes with, and the little squeeze bottle. Not quite sure what the other little orange thing is, i guess its a toy but oh well,i'll put it 2 good use during baby bath time. the only bad thing i have to say and its probably no one's fault, is that the sides of my tub are orange stained. They are just little streaks and im sure they can be wiped off but it made me feel like my tub had already been used which couldnt be because everything was sealed in the original packing. ne who i love this tub and i hope my little man loves taking baths in it for as long as he can.
By the way, did I mention my favorite color was orange :)
