I love this lotion and have been using it on my daughter (who is now 17 mo.) for about a year. The product isn't a shea butter - instead, it's a really nice lotion. The lotion is free of the nasty chemicals I try to stay away from, it's manufactured and sold by a small company that uses solar power (how awesome), and the owner is a really nice person (met her at a baby fair and was hooked on her products pretty instantly). Great, great product - cannot recommend it enough.

We have primarily used California Baby since my son was born. I tried this because at the time it was new, organic and cost less. The product was OK at best but, the smell was horrible. Like another reviewer stated - I couldn't give this away because it smelled so bad. The scores are OK on ewg website but, who wants to stink. We recently found another affordable option that I love - The Honest Company. It cost less than any other option we have tried; is more moisturizing and smells great.

After a long day, my baby boys and I love the Better Body Butter. We like to have night time massages to relax before bedtime, and this stuff is the best. It goes on very smooth, and a little goes a long way. Its nice to know I am improving the quality of my boys skin by using Episencial.
