I usually don't bother with reviews unless the product far exceeds my expectations and is worthy of a review. This is by far the BEST treatment for hemorrhoids that I have ever used! I got hemorrhoids for the 1st time while pregnant with my 1st child, and after giving birth to her they were very bad and swollen. Preparation H didn't help AT ALL, nothing did but time. Eventually they got better until my 2nd pregnancy when they came back again in my 3rd trimester with the pressure of my growing baby on that region. I needed to use something to help with the swelling and discomfort, and I am SO glad I found this balm! It has helped me immensely, reduces swelling, is very cooling and just overall an amazing product! I have used it during the 3rd trimester of my 2nd pregnancy, and will be using it after the arrival of my 2nd baby. I honestly don't know what I would do without it and it's a product I will buy over and over again and HIGHLY recommend- not just for pregnancy, but for anyone...Read more

I did not have hemorrhoids or an episiotomy, but this product works wonders for the itching near stitches. One thing surprised me: it has a menthol (tingling) effect.
