Product Review

In 1963, Dr. Forest M. Smith Jr. M.D., a longtime pediatrician in San Antonio, Texas was very dissatisfied with the length of time it was taking for his patients diaper rash to heal. He was deeply bothered by the distress the rash was causing patients and their parents. He wanted to provide them faster, more effectivie relief. He teamed up with two pharmacists to create a more effective diaper ointment. Dr. Smith's is creamy, fast absorbing, pleasant smelling, and best of all fast acting. Dr. Smith's unique blend is easy to apply and easy to wash off. It goes on like a cream, and protects like an ointment. It forms a protective barrier that effectively seals out moisture and protects skin from irritation. And, it is gentle on the baby's tender skin. It works fast. With the first treatment, you will most often see vast improvement in the baby's condititon overnight. The incomparable effectiveness and gentleness of Dr. Smith's has spread by word of mouth, mom to mom. It's all about the baby...Dr. Smith developed, doctor recommended, Dr. Smith's premium blend Diaper Ointment.

My daughter had such bad diaper rash that she had sores on her bottom. We tried EVERYTHING!!!! It got so bad we had to go once a week to the doctor for medication and "prescribed" diaper creams...nothing worked. Got the Dr. Smiths idea from another mom....in 4 days her diaper rash cleared up and we were able to keep it at bay with Dr. Smiths. This is the best kept mommy secret ever. Due to the cost we only used Dr. Smiths when it looked like a diaper rash may start or in the summer for heat rash. I even found the product works great on my older children and myself for irritation, heat rash and other irritations. When I say this is Gold in a Jar....I'm not kidding!!! I know give this as a baby gift to all new mommies...never fails I get a call of thanks within the first 6 months and a "this stuff is great...I'm so glad you turned me on to Dr. Smiths!" No need for Dr. Smiths "rash" care...this is it!!!!! Good luck and Happy bottoms!

My doctor gave us a sample of this when my daughter was born and it's awesome! My daughter is on solids and has never had a diaper rash! We use this after every bath and at the slightest hint of pinkness. Her little bottom is normal by the next diaper change.

I am a Registered Nurse, and a mother of 4. Dr. Smith's makes both roles easier. This paste works miracles on bottoms of all sizes. I have been using 'docto mitts' (courtesy of my daughter)for 9 years. My first-born had a staph infection on her buttocks as an infant and diaper changes were excruciating - until a pharmacist in San Antonio recommended using Dr. Smith's along with the antibiotic cream at every diaper change. I've used this miracle cream ever since. It works great when kids get constipated and get little tears from hard stools, it works when they've forgotten to wipe effectively and they get a little sore. It worked for me personally after the birth of my daughter and I was suffering from the stitches. It works on my patients who experience rashes. I've used it for burns, sunburns, scrapes, cracked nipples, and all sorts of rashes. The ointment does not have any pain-killers in it, but it's very calming to the skin and other delicate tissues, it even works great...Read more
