Absolutely the best!,

I have four kids, and I have tried every diaper rash cream out there. Nothing protects and soothes baby's bottom as well as Desitin Original. I don't like the creamy Desitin, it wipes off inside the diaper too easily. Desitin Original stays where you put it and works best to heal a rash, but can also be used with every diaper change to prevent diaper rash. A Mommy Must-Have!

I've tried Balmex, Butt Paste (2nd favorite and LOVE the scent, and the cute name), other versions of Desitin among others, and this is by far the best. I'm the oldest of 4 kids, and my mom realized after the 2nd that using it at every changing totally prevents diaper rash. My daughter is 18 months old, and has never had full-blown diaper rash; a few bouts of redness here and there when I've been in rush and not used it, but that's it. I always include it in shower gifts. Definitely recommend!!!

This product works great! I like that it comes in this larger tub instead of in the small tubes. It is much more convenient for home use. For a while I was using A&D, because my aunt highly recommended it. A friend of mine happened to buy me a tube of Desitin that I pulled out when I was out of A&D. This actually got rid of the rash that I was trying to get rid of for a week! A&D doesn't seem to help the rash, but Desitin did.
The only issue some people might have is that it is white and can be difficult to get off of baby's skin at time, but it comes right off in the bath! My auntie says she didn't use Desitin for this reason. I think if it works, I don't care what it looks like. It isn't harmful for a little residue to remain on baby's skin.
