Large enough to bundle up our 3 month baby even when not tucked in the pocket. The kitty hood has ample space for baby's head. Thick enough to keep her abundantly warm. Holds up to machine washings, but as with any towels, eventually has begun to fade with time, but still holding strong.

It's a great towel for a little one. One side is very soft velure-like, another is little bit more rough (still soft!). Both sides are cotton. But now my baby who is 7,5 m.o. grew out of this towel. I would give it 5 stars if it were larger, but this is my only complaint.
