I buy from Amazon constantly, and am an Amazon Mom member as well as Amazon Prime. You can buy this product directly from the CB website for cheaper. Usually Amazon has prices that can compete with others, but definitely not in this case, so do your research!

I began using California Baby (CB) products during my third pregnancy after spending literally several hundred dollars on popular natural and organic toiletries as well as laundry detergents due to VERY severe pregnancy induced itching. Which unfortunately never resolved after delivery.

Fortunately, I finally gave in out of desperation and the astounding amount of positive reviews across the internet, and I tried CB lotion although I had already given up on anything helping. All the other products I had tried were also free of parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc., so I had little hope of this one making a difference. Wow! Wow! Wow! I was truly impressed with this stuff. The itching was almost completely cleared up. I cannot think of a better way to describe how well this lotion absorbs except to say my skin seems to literally drink it. I live in a very humid area. I have been using California baby on my 5 month old since the day he was born. I love all their products but feel truly let down on the new presentation AND FORMULATION of the skin lotion.

First of all, the wonderful pump with the twist-lock is gone. The new one does not lock, and is a much cheaper version. The material on the previous one, was a soft, silky plastic. You could pump and catch the cream with the same hand, while holding you baby with the other...you know what I mean. But this new pump is rough, super thin, tall and just not practical at all.

The formulation has also changed. BEWARE AS AMAZON DOES NOT ADVICE OF THIS. Now the cream smells absolutely DISGUSTING. The scent was one of the most beautiful things on this cream. I keep asking my self WHY DID THEY DO THAT? Terrible mistake. They certainly did something to alter the ingredients, as the cream doesn't read organic on the label anymore and it smells like chemicals.
