California Baby Calming Massage Oil

California Baby is EXPENSIVE. The prices on their products always bring on a cringe. However, for the massage oil, I feel its absolutely worth every penny.

My little one has sensitive, dry skin and this is the best massage oil we have found. Its not too oily, it easily rubs into the skin, and it is safe for his baby skin. When he was a newborn and baby, I put a few drops into his bathwater, used it as massage oil to rub in after each bath, and then added the California Baby unscented lotion before dressing him for bed. Now that he's a toddler and won't lie still for a massage, I still add a few drops to his bath and find that it helps keep his skin soft during the winter months.

Like all California Baby products, there are no harsh chemicals or dangerous ingredients in this massage oil. Its safe and eco-friendly.

My sweet baby has severe GERD. Some days are better than others even with the drugs she's on. On a bad day, wear earplugs and hang on. But this? Aromatherapy and massage calms and soothes even the most unhappy little creatures and is a wonderful bonding experience for you both. She asks at the end of a bath for this to be rubbed on her feet (by sticking them at me one at a time when she sees the bottle!) and it helps the post-bath-daily-meltdown. It and others are wonderful for cranky times and even if the GERD has her a little phlegmy we put it on her feet, rub it on her chest, and after a full meltdown, rub it on her back to soothe her into rest. It's an amazing product. Yes, you can make it on your own, but as a new parent who has time? And it's the right balance with zero separation of the oils. She and I both have eczema and allergies including skin ones, and this does not upset either of us. It's lovely and not too lavender-y.

Using it every night for baby's after bath massage. The baby enjoys and it smells wonderful. Shall continue using it.
