Truly awful. My poor 11 months baby screamed in pain! I called customer service and someone asked me to email her the batch number so she could look at it. She never followed up on my email. If you want all natural, I would recommend Boudreau's butt paste or Burt bees. They work wonders even if they don't smell as nice...

We have been cloth diapering for the past 12 months and go back and forth between using California Baby and Grandma El's.
Pros:
-Does not stain cloth diapers
-Pleasant French lavender scent. Lavender is also known for its antibacterial properties
-Easy to find both online and in stores like Target and Babies R Us
Cons:
-Seems too light to treat anything other than mild diaper rash
-Some may take issue with its rather feminine, grandmotherly scent. I know my sister uses Grandma El's exclusively because her husband did not want their boy baby smelling so flowery!

This is the only diaper cream I will use. I love the way it smells, the way it spreads so easily, and it works beautifully...if my son had a bit of diaper rash, it was gone within a couple of changings while using this. He developed terrible chafing from pooping so much from while on antibiotics and this cleared it right up. I tried the Bordeaux Butt Paste and hated it because it didn't apply as easily as the CB. I'll never use anything else.
