This stuff is wonderful if you have a child with sensitive skin--especially if the child also screams when you try to comb her hair! We use it after shampooing to assist in the combing out process. It's also indispensable for using on dry hair when tackling bed head and for taming frizz. It's also great for using after swimming. It doesn't make the hair greasy looking at all. It does have an oder: kind of a clovery, earthy smell. I don't think most boys would object to it. And, I've noticed the smell pretty much goes away after an hour or so. There are other detanglers out there...and this one is pricy...but it seems to be the only one that my daughter's scalp doesn't react to. We love it.

I started using this detangler before I was pregnant with my first child. I love it's smell, and little goes a long way. I love that it is all natural. Now I use it on my 18 months old hair when needed. He seems to like it to since he does not protest. I highly recommend this product due to it's all natural and harmless ingredients and the fact that it actually works!

Kid with long curly hair, lots of tangles.... this product got the tangles out but dried his hair out in process. Stopped using after a week, no one wants dry brittle hair.
