Our baby had a rash for about a week, and all the Desitin we slapped on there did nothing. Maybe it won't work as well for your baby but its awesome for ours.
We would dry his butt with a hair drier before application every time and nothing.. A friend gave us the Burt's Bee's so we decided to try it out. Within 12 hours the rash was gone. Now we only use a very minimal amount at each change along with the butt drying.
Have you seen what the first ingredient is to Desitin? Its fish oil..
Our baby smells better and has no rash... perfect..
I only give it 4 stars because to get all the ointment out we cut the bottle in half to gain access.
