I ordered these wash cloths specifically to use to dry my face. I expected them to be soft and absorbant. They are not even remotely absorbant. Either they were soaked in some solution during manufacture that rendered them non-absorbant, or they are made of microfiber rather than cotton. I would never knowingly purchase microfiber. Another reason they do not seem like cotton is that they easily stain and do not come clean when washed in hot water and Charlie's Soap. I would like an explanation from the Bumkins people, but do not know how to contact them.

I love these soft organic washcloths. They are just the right size. My husband and I love these little washcloths for quick cleanups. We use them when we want to wash our faces, and for other parts before and after intimate times together, and have given some to my elderly diabetic mother for sponge bathing.
