I don't have a baby, but I do have extremely sensitive skin that is prone to dryness whenever it gets irritated. In the winter it gets even worse and I end up scaly all over if I am not careful. I started using this wash on my face and body (using a bath pouf) this past winter. It doesn't lather up like crazy, but sufficiently. Besides, more lather means more drying, as a rule. It felt more like a creamy, luxurious face wash. Left no noticeable residue on my skin, but I did notice a sharp decrease in the tightness and dryness of my skin almost immediately after I started using it. I continue to use it on my face as my preferred face wash. It removes makeup effectively and my skin does not feel overly dry and tight afterward. I still need a very light amount of lotion but not much. The wash is fragrance-free, but it has a natural smell to it that reminds me of lightly toasted oats and perhaps a touch of freshly ground almonds. We use it every day and keeps his eczema under control. We also use the powder to bathe him in once a week.
