We used to swear by Boudreaux's Butt Paste until my 21 mo. old son got a blistery diaper rash from a medication allergy. Nothing-- not Triple Paste or even creams from the pharmacy (lotrimin/hydrocortisone blends)-- could knock the rash out. I bought the Anti Monkey Butt because we needed anything that might help him. The first time we put it on him overnight, his behind looked SO much better in the morning and all the redness had faded. A few more diapers worth and his skin was on its way to healing. And it's great to put on itchy bug bites, too! We'll be buying this to give to our friends with new babies from now on.

My 7-month old received a tube of this at his baby shower before he was born. It sat in his medicine cabinet and was pretty much just used for show (as this is a pretty darn cute tube and the name is adorable too) until his first diaper rash at 7 months old. His rash was super red and bumpy - tried A&D, Desitin, and even Bourdeaux's - nothing worked. So I whipped out this Anti Monkey Butt and his rash was GONE by the 3rd diaper change! Within 6 hours!! The crimp on the top of the tube started leaking though after 3 days - I simply took a lighter to it and used a pair of pliers while it was still gooey and it sealed back up super tight. I have since purchased mulitple tubes for Grandma's, his diaper bag, and a spare in our car too! We have been using this on our daughter since she was born, and so far she is diaper rash free. Every time she starts to look a little red we apply this cream, and by the next diaper change the redness is completely gone. It is amazing! I would definitely recommend this product. As for the people who complained about the smell, I think it smells fine. I don't know why that matters anyway since you only have to smell it for a few seconds. The important thing is that it works.
